About Me

Mein Name ist Hanna Müller, ich bin (fast) achtzehn Jahre alt und komme aus dem kleinen, aber feinen Städtchen Görlitz an der Neiße. Ich mache momentan mein Abitur und will danach für ein Jahr einen weltwärts-Freiwilligendienst in Südafrika machen. Ein Auslandsjahr steht bereits seit der neunten Klasse auf meiner bucket list, weswegen ich mich total darauf freue (und im Moment auch hoffe, dass Corona mir keinen Strich durch die Rechnung macht). An alle, die sich auf diesen Blog verirrt haben: Schön, dass ihr da seid, und vielleicht habt ihr ja Lust, meine Südafrika-Zeit virtuell mitzumachen 🙂

To the English readership (if there actually is one): Welcome to my blog 😀 My name is Hanna Müller, I am 17 years old and from Germany´s most eastern town Görlitz, and from October 2020 to September 2021, I am going to do a voluntary service in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. If you are interested in following my journey to the other end of the world, then there´s good news: I am planning to write this blog both in German and in English, so that international readers can understand it (and I can practice my English writing, which is a considerable advantage as well).
